| Adequan« IA. is recommended for the treatment of non-infectious degenerative and/or traumatic joint dysfunction and associated lameness of the carpal joint in horses. No other treatment is proven to modify the disease cycle and control its symptoms. With Adequan« IA., you can expect significant signs of improvement within one or two weeks as your horse resumes normal activities. DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: The recommended use of Adequan IA in horses is 250mg (1 vial) once a week for five weeks, intra-articularly. The joint area must be shaved, cleansed, and sterilized, as in a surgical procedure prior to injection. Do not mix Adequan with other drugs or other solvents.
